“Spectacular scenery and excellent hospitality” were the order of the day when a group of love.golfers gathered at the Rose Ladies Open at Brocket Hall in September.

The women took in the action on the Melbourne Course over the three days and enjoyed the food and drink in hospitality

“It was an amazing experience,” said attendee Susan Rush. “When I arrived and looked over the lake I thought ‘wowee, I cannot believe this view’ – and it only got better. The scenery and surroundings were spectacular.

“We walked round watching the golf and the players were approachable. We met Justin Rose later on in hospitality and he was very pleasant.

“The whole day was exceptionally well organised from drop-off to pick-up.”

The inaugural Rose Ladies Open took place in 2022 and returned to Brocket Hall this year with an increased prize fund of €70,000 – the largest on the LET Access Series this year.

A field of 72 players teed up for the 54-hole stroke play competition, which was won by Chiara Tamburlini of Switzerland.
