love.golf launches in style at the host venue of the biggest event in women’s golf

love.golf has officially launched at the host venue of The 2019 Solheim Cup, Gleneagles.

The world-famous Scottish hotel and sporting estate welcomed 20 newcomers along to an introductory love.golf experience on the hotel’s Pitch and Putt Course, followed by tapas and drinks in its Clubhouse bar, Auchterarder 70.

The launch was supported by our very own coach and Solheim Cup Ambassador Linzi Dye, from West Kilbride Golf Club.

One of the participants, Lize, was particularly taken with her experience: “It turns out I like golf! Which, I’m quite shocked at as I never really thought of it as being something I would do. But the opportunity to try it in a fun and stress-free environment really appealed to me.

“I actually hit some good shots – including one amazing shot which gives you a real sense of euphoria. That, plus being part of a group of women with tons of enthusiasm made it a really memorable day.”

Gleneagles, celebrating 100 years of golf this year, plans to stage a series of love.golf sessions from the Autumn onwards, handing the opportunity for women like Lize to progress on her love.golf journey following the biggest event in women’s golf, The Solheim Cup.
