If you enjoy braving the cold at winter socials then watch this space for more fun and friendly golf events around the corner in 2022…
Coach Kat Chaszczewski recently staged a special love.golf social at Hurtmore Golf Club in Surrey.
More than 30 women pitched up for a fantastic festive experience out on the golf course, with every player receiving some special love.golf goodies including a cap, tees, a ball and ball marker and chocolates.
“It was a relaxed and fun event with smiles all round and new friendships being forged,” said Kat.
On the move
Kat is planning to spread the love even more next year when she joins Waterlooville Golf Club – keeping invites open to those women she has worked with and met before at Hurtmore and her previous club Rustington.
“Ideally I’d like to run something on a quarterly basis: spring, summer, autumn and winter scrambles,” she said.
“I find Texas Scramble is the best format for beginners as it is inclusive and takes the pressure off all players. 9 holes works well – for some it provides their first experience of playing 9 holes – followed with an opportunity to socialise afterwards with food and drink!”
