Getting Started With love.golf – What to Wear

Starting a new hobby or sport is a really exciting way to meet new people, learn new skills and build your confidence. Like any event or day out though, it can be a little bit daunting trying to work out what to wear, especially if you are stepping into unchartered waters.

For love.golf, you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in, but we know that sometimes, a little inspiration is helpful… We’ve pulled together some great options so that you can focus on having fun on the golf course rather than thinking about what outfit to wear.

As you learn, you will be able to adapt and change your outfits as you understand what works for you – whether you need more flexibility, a few more layers or you’re getting too hot halfway round the course! Your friendly love.golf coach can also give you advice on what to buy and where to buy it, if you’re looking for something specific, but don’t put too much pressure on yourself – just enjoy the experience!

Cheap & Cheerful

Splashing out on a whole wardrobe of outfits isn’t always an option and it doesn’t have to be! The most important thing to remember when trying something new is that you are there to have fun, not advertise the latest pair of flashy trainers. High Street brands such as Matalan, M&S and Next have some fantastic options that won’t blow the budget but will make sure you’re comfortable and relaxed whilst playing.

Urge to Splurge

Everyone deserves a treat from time to time and investing in some premium sportswear is a practical and fun way to do just that! Premium sportswear doesn’t need to be smothered in branding – focusing on comfortable and flexible fabric is the best way to choose sportswear rather than prioritising the brand logo. Specialist sports brands such as Sweaty Betty, Lulu Lemon and Nike have some great, high quality options that build a great capsule wardrobe.
